Support for Service Users

Jahn Housing & Support has numerous supported accommodations throughout Birmingham. Our houses are kept in good repair, with each house allocated a trained Housing Support Worker. These support workers report maintenance and repairs and provide comfort and support to vulnerable adults, ensuring their needs are met and their living environment remains safe and welcoming.

Timely Placements and Comprehensive Support

Placements can be achieved on the same day as the referral is received, if required, or otherwise within 72 hours. We aim to resolve the primary need of housing as soon as we can, and then use our time to build strong, healthy, therapeutic relationships with our service users to support any secondary needs that are identified.

People find themselves homeless or at risk of homelessness due to a range of secondary problems, from family breakdowns and fleeing domestic violence to substance misuse, mental health issues, and offending behaviour.

Jahn Housing & Support are trained advocates of providing a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE). We recognise the challenges people have faced and use this understanding to tailor our approach and empower individuals to achieve their goals.
